Doesn't help that the NFC East drew the NFC West -- which appears to be top-to-bottom the best division in the league (at least when SF is healthy) -- and the AFC North, which looks pretty strong. Even Cincy is feisty.

Love the fight between Ramsey and Tate at the end of the Rams-Giants game. "Um, they apparently have some off-field issues...."

Haaaa. I didn't know about the real issues behind this until they brought it up on the Cousin Sal-Simmons podcast today. Tweet that gives the summary:

    Wow, hilarious.
Hard to believe it has been 20 years since the Clippers' Jeff McInnis walked into the Raptors' shootaround the morning of a game and got into a fight with Charles Oakley. Reportedly, it was over a girl. Clippers coach Alvin Gentry said, "We're not talking about the most mature group of individuals."

And Derek Fisher was seeing Matt Barnes' ex-wife and got into a fight with Barnes at a party.

Wasn't Tate -- the NFL's most overrated receiver, ever -- boffing Russell Wilson's ex, and that's why he was shipped out of Seattle?

The whole Paul George-Doc Rivers dynamic had to be super weird.

Pats are now down 10-13 to the Chiefs. This is the kind of game underdogs steal. Note: No thanks to Brian Hoyer. Best plays for NE tonight were Sammy Watkins fumble and a PI call on Mathieu. THAT one Hoyer learned from Brady.
