Otherwise, the schedule is kind of lame this week. Detroit/Dallas, Pittsburgh/Houston and NY Jets/Baltimore were the only games that seemed all that interesting.

Now Bob Sanders has more time to follow the Lions and they close down the fucking mobile strip club. Life just isn't fair.

Curious to hear what people think of the Bears-Panthers matchup. I'm still stunned at how well Newton has played, but he came down to Earth a bit last week, and this will be the best defense he's faced, or at least the defense that matches up best against him. The Bears have contained mobile quarterbacks very well in Lovie Smith's tenure. Their performance against Michael Vick last year was the blueprint on how to stop what had been unstoppable to that point. I suspect Newton will make a few plays, but I expect the Bears to make this the longest day of his young career. Especially if Deangelo Williams remains AWOL.

Tough to tell how much of Cam's performance was "coming down to Earth" and how much was the 4 inches of rain that dropped on that game. This will be a great test for him.

Patriots-Raiders could be the best game of the weekend. Pats aren't stopping anyone from running the ball, and McFadden is having the early makings of an MVP-caliber season.

Romo got bashed pretty hard by Washington.

It's a shame that Sanders is likely done for forever, because when he was on, he was a great, great player.

It's just one of those cases where he played way too big with his body. Running a 20-yard sprint to collide with a big running back created more force than a little guy could handle.

  12. I think he could a been a HOF'er.
