Baltimore at KC should be good, because the Ravens new-look offense is so, so potent.
Dallas is a 21-point favorite over Miami.

And not even the biggest favorite of the weekend. The Patriots are 22 1/2-point favorites over the Jets, who will be starting a third-string QB who was on the practice squad two weeks ago.
If you lay the points, you're basically betting that the Dolphins and Jets will score more than 10 points. I'm all in on the Cowboys and Pats.

Five glorious games at 1:00 (pacific). Then the Ram game at 5:30.
I'm gonna make a dent on that couch.

I don't think the Dolphins or Jets could score 10 points against each other. This HAS to be the first time in NFL history there's been two 20 plus point spreads in the same week. There's usually like one a decade.

I'm reading a lot of "since 1987" regarding the point spreads, but those were strike games.

That's like when ESPN compared UConn women win streak to UCLA men. Don't do it.

Is it me or do Tennessee and Jacksonville play each other six times a year, all on Thursday nights?

  8. The more I think about it, I think the Chiefs are going undefeated.
One team in the AFC could beat them, but not if they play at Arrowhead (playoffs).
Saints might be able win, but won’t.

The disparity between the top teams in the AFC and everyone else is nuts.

I know one Titans fan who lived in Knoxville and went to UT. I've never met a Jaguars fan, and I ain't planning on spending any time in Jacksonville this lifetime, so there's a good chance I never will.

They have some tough games, including road tilts in NE and Chicago. They also host GB and Minnie. They're bound to lose one of those games. Hell, they could lose this week to Baltimore.

I think the Arrowhead advantage is among the biggest crock-of-shit storylines in sports. They never live up to it. If they did, they might have played in a single Super Bowl since 1970.

Before they beat the Colts last year, they'd lost freaking six straight home playoff games. That's pathetic for a team that supposedly has such a great home crowd.

The league is weak. It's amazing that at Week 3 you can cross off 26/32 teams as having a defensible shot at a title. It gets even worse if you believe that the Rams will crap themselves again and KC will do what they are predestined to do in January.

    Arizona Cardinals
    Atlanta Falcons
    Baltimore Ravens
    Buffalo Bills
    Carolina Panthers
    Chicago Bears
    Cincinnati Bengals
    Cleveland Browns
    Dallas Cowboys
    Denver Broncos
    Detroit Lions
    Green Bay Packers
    Houston Texans
    Indianapolis Colts
    Jacksonville Jaguars

    Kansas City Chiefs
    Los Angeles Chargers
    Los Angeles Rams
    Miami Dolphins
    Minnesota Vikings

    New England Patriots
    New Orleans Saints

    New York Giants
    New York Jets
    Oakland Raiders

    Philadelphia Eagles
    Pittsburgh Steelers
    San Francisco 49ers

    Seattle Seahawks
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Tennessee Titans
    Washington Redskins

Well, the only 1 p.m. games I care about, I'll get over the air, so I'll probably stay in and watch those and head out to the bar for the 4 p.m. games.
