Anybody remember when a spread like 13.5 (Rams-Cards) was a big deal?

LA has shit the bed two straight weeks (and sharted 3 weeks ago in Detroit) and are still a 13.5 favorite this week. I know the Cards are bad, but still. Do *you* want to give 2 tds?

The Jets look like a very live home dog to me. Ditto Philly.

Wonder what the resident Steelers fans here think of the +6.5. I kind of like it; they have to keep their foot on the gas while the Saints have the short week and less to worry about, playoffs-wise.

It seems about right to me. Finally beating the Patriots is great and it is certainly a step in the right direction over the three previous weeks, but I'm not convinced that the Steelers have fully righted the ship. Roethlisberger threw two more interceptions, Boswell missed another easy field goal and that was just part of the offense misfiring on too many opportunities. Also, home field played a significant role against New England, with crowd noise making things a lot tougher on the Patriots' offensive line. It will be the Steelers facing that problem Sunday in New Orleans.

The Saints haven't been impressive offensively in recent games, but the defense seems to be getting better. Pittsburgh's offensive line could be the biggest key. New Orleans relies heavily on its pass rush to cover for a shaky secondary and Pittsburgh's offensive front pass protects as well as any in the league.

In the end, I think it comes down to avoiding big mistakes and the Steelers haven't done a very good job of that this season.

The only thing of interest to Lions fans is they currently have the No. 7 pick
Of course, the last top five pick they had was Ziggy Ansah, who'll be leaving as a free agent

This week, I'm a situational Ravens, Saints and Eagles fan.

To the Cardinals? No hesitation at all.

When was the last time the Browns were favored by a TD? 1986?

I like the Chargers, Vikings and Eagles against the number, and the Eagles on the money line.

Other than the first two being bad for the Steelers, I'm not sure how those three fit together.

Two players who did not play college football have scored TDs this season, Mo Alie-Cox for Indianapolis and Chris Manhertz for New Orleans. College basketball players who morphed into NFL tight ends, like Antonio Gates.

If ever two parties were destined to intersect, it was Nathan Peterman and the 2018 Oakland Raiders.
