Forty-seven and color-blind, he'd still be a better option than the current stiff for at least half a dozen teams.

Some shitty TV games until N.O.-Atl Monday night (Car-Pitt, Dal-Arz, Minn-Phil).

I for one look forward to the Giants continuing their annual late-season collapse.

This season, the better debate is Brady vs. Vick.

Brady has always been better than Manning.

That statement might be true, but it is unsupported by any evidence except prejudice. A quarterback who has started for more championship teams than another is not necessarily superior. He was on better teams.
This argument is beyond stupid. Once you get to the surefire Hall of Fame level, who cares who's better? Any team would be glad to have either one. Brady's sure as hell having a better year than Manning in 2010, but then, the reverse was true in 2009.

As always, just hoping for two things this week: A Steelers win and a Ravens loss. The Steelers sure could use that first-round bye given all the injuries along both lines, Polamalu, etc.

If it goes four rings against one ring after the next SB is played, I don't want to hear whose teammates were whose or who played who.

Four beats one every day of the week just like five beats two.

Because Tom Brady was out there by himself four times, blocking and kicking and running.

I would take Brady as well, but just using rings as an example is a weak argument.

Well, he was out there by himself until he got stopped on third down and some sober kicker won the game. :D :D

Have Brady's teams been better? For pure talent, Manning and the Colts have always been superior. The difference has been at the two most critical spots -- QB and coach. Brady and Belichick have been and always will be better than Manning and Dungy/Caldwell. Not a knock against the latter, but the former will go down as one of the greatest combos in league history.

Exactly. And special teams. As somebody already pointed out, Brady won three championships with Vinatieri making every clutch kick. In 2001, the defense and special teams won the AFC Championship game for the Patriots while Brady struggled before getting knocked out of the game with an injury.

What was the biggest impact the special teams have had on Manning's career? Vanderjagt's miss against the Steelers.
