Washington will never, ever, have a team that regularly makes the playoffs so long as they are owned by Dan Snyder.

Would the above statement make it 16?

Some of this shit has to blow back on Jay Gruden. It's pretty apparent most the team has quit on him.

Yeah, let's fire him and then what?

They're becoming the Raiders, and their coaching future is going to proceed with something approaching the quality of Norv/Art/Lane/Cable.

Hey, they had Norv before Norv was Norv. He started their Raider-esque string of coaching disappointments.

But, hell, even Jim Fucking Zorn didn't have a string of shittiness like Gruden has had this year.

I've recently been playing in franchise mode on Madden '07 with a team other than the Redskins, and am about to head into the 2015 season. In my franchise, Vince Young is a four-time NFL MVP who led the Redskins to two Super Bowl wins in three seasons.
Even that doesn't seem as far-fetched right now as the actual Redskins sniffing a championship.

Dungy. dont laugh. If Danny wants RG to succeed, he's going to need someone who is so far beyond reproach that even the biggest Prima Donna in football can't ignore.

Speaking of teams in disaster mode, it looks like the Saints are setting the self-destruct charges. They cut Joe Morgan (a little-used receiver who nonetheless had stayed on the roster through a number of injuries and other issues), benched starting safety Kenny Vaccaro (a generally solid starter and former first round pick who has struggled at times) and Sean Payton called 10 other players into his office for "evaluation."
    Laissez bon ton roulé.

I can't think of a coach less equipped to get the most out of a quarterback.

And yet they enter a Week 15 nationally televised game squarely in contention for a division title at 5-8.

Yep and Kaepernick's required media availability this week ought to be fun. Last week he was asked 17 questions and his answers totaled 88 words.

10-3 Arizona is a 4.5-point underdog at 6-7 St. Louis.
