NFL Week 14- The Bird and The Beard Edition

    Their vegas win total was 6. I know because I bet the under. There were not high expectations for this team. The expectation was 6-10 and they are 6-7.

    There is good 6-10 and bad 6-10. I still don't think this qualifies as an up and coming team. Granted, I doubt Gruden would have dumped as many players if he knew he had only four years to make the playoffs - but he inherited a 6-10 team and doesn't seem to have taken a stride forward in his third year.

    It probably seems more disappointing because they (momentarily) seemed to be in control of their own playoff destiny, with a record above .500. Then they got blown out by the Jets, IIRC.

    At least a Bills or Ravens level? As if the two are comparable?
    Playoff wins, 1996-present:
    Ravens 15 (4th best in the NFL)
    Bills 0

    Bills or Ravens today - teams that appear to be trending up and their window doesn't appear to be closing anytime soon.
