Saw this awesome stat: Devin Hester's 82-yard touchdown on a punt return just barely comes in under the sum total of punt return yards the Bears have allowed this season (84 yards on 48 punts). That's Lovie Smith football, for better or for worse.

Ya, that's what worries me. The message doesn't seem to stick. Maybe Lovie showed some "emotion" behind closed doors, though, and it finally sunk in.

I'll go ahead and assume that, each time, Lovie was the driving force behind Martz's reset. I'll give him the credit, and accept that wood has mutative properties with which I'm not familiar.

Still begs the question as to why last year wasn't enough.

Oh well. I'm too lazy to remember hard, but I can't recall a recent three-game stretch where the Bears played better than they have against Bucs-Eagles-Lions. Certainly not last year.

Shit, Time Warner and the NFL Network are still fighting? I thought when Comcast agreed, that was the end of that.

    Probably not.

If I remember the movie correctly (which isn't easy because you kinda have to turn your brain off to enjoy it), Falco was supposed to have great talent, but he lacked the confidence.

Palko doesn't lack for confidence. Arm strength? That's another matter.

You would think that if Denver's high school offense could do anything well, it would be run the ball in short-yardage situations. But thus far, no such luck.

Shonn Greene not looking good. LT not playing. Jets are up against it in this one.

    The Fighting Tebows win again.

Not with 85 yards in the first half they're not going to win.

Hey man, they were tied at half!

And Tebow is not throwing the ball the worst of all quarterbacks on the field tonight.

The night is young. And there's an overthrow. The 11 1/2 on the over/under of completions is certainly going to be interesting down the stretch, but with these screens, he'll probably go past it.

Mike Mayock is getting on my nerves. Way too much detail on every play.

I would venture to guess that most watching the Jet / Broncos game
understand how Zone Read play works without the diagrams.
