NFL Week 10: What can Browns do with Quinn?

Normally, I would think it crazy to start a new NFL weekly threads hours after the Monday night game got done. But because the NFL Network is showing the Broncos-Browns game Thursday night, might as well start now.

--Bills-Patriots (along with the Jets game) will determine first place in the AFC East. Who knew?
--Colts and Steelers, IIRC, play each other for the first time since that crazy playoff game. Will Ben play?
--Saints hit Atlanta for what could be a very telling game in the NFC South.
--49ers and Cardinals play in a rare MNF game for both.
--Can the Lions keep the suspense going to build Thanksgiving ratings?

From what I got in a text recently, the answer to #2 is a resounding no.

For No. 10, no Fran Tarkenton? Steve Bartkowski? Eli Manning? You're better than this, Oz.

    Anyhoo.

New Orleans - easily. Sure, Atlanta has surpassed expectations ... going into the season, three wins might have a reach. But consider among the Falcons' wins: Kansas City, Detroit and Oakland. The schedule isn't Atlanta's fault, but Southern Cal and perhaps Air Raid could get fat facing this trio.

It's a little easier to stop Oakland's dysfunctional mess than it is Drew Brees.

    I'm a Steelers fan, you're lucky I didn't go with Kordell for nostalgia's sake. ;D

Todd Sauerbrun? I think we can get most of the juice out of the jersey.
    Dameyune Craig?
    Ryne Robinson?

This thread had Charlie Batch written all over it.

Former Eastern Michigan standout...the guy who forced Barry Sanders to retire...AND a Steelers backup for a good stretch.

Pittsburgh native, too. But he wears No. 16 for the Steelers, so I never really gave him a thought.

That's quite all right, thank you for the offer, but I'll have to decline.

I'm going to miss the AFC Disappointment Bowl on Thursday since NFL Network is not available on NYC cable. I was looking forward to seeing how Brady Quinn reacts to his first NFL start.

    Awful thread title.

I will have to get more active on Tuesday mornings.
