Philip Rivers never adjusted his release point from when he learned to throw as a child. Therefore, it looks anything but orthodox.

But it works just fine - a strong example of not trying to fix something which isn't broken. He throws an accurate, catchable ball and doesn't get picked off too often.

    His record against Maryland? 0-4!!!!

Sigh, it's all I got. He's not a likeable guy, but he's a pretty good QB.

Mike and Mike were an abomination tonight.

    Fucking awful.

Worse than the Oregon-Purdue Pac 10 schmucks.

    Golic kept talking over everybody.

How bad does Golic want to be on MNF?

Can Sonner show up and tell us how he choked?

Nobody could have been worse than the Oregon-Purdue Pac 10 schmucks.

  7. Did I hear correctly last night on MNF... The Bills will be honoring their all-time team this week? Wonder if OJ will be invited?

Oregon-Purdue guys had nothing on Houston-Ok. State homers. I thought the color man was going to cry everytime Houston scored... as opposed to TOUCHDOWN COWBOYS!!!!

I'd like to thank Antonio Gates for single-handedly ruining my fantasy game this week. He goes down on the one-foot line in the second quarter. If he scores, I get the points for Philip Rivers throwing a TD pass. Instead, they run it and I lose by three.

To someone else in my department.

Fourth-and-15 is a tough conversion, but how is punting the right call?
IIRC, they had two timeouts and the two-minute warning. There was 2:30 something left. So a Chargers first down pretty much ends the game whether you punt or not. The ball was around the 40-yard line. If you punt and hold them, you probably get the ball back around the 40 again. If you go for it and hold them, worst case scenario is they kick a field goal and you only tie with a touchdown.
You have to stop them either way, so why not take a shot?

FYI, there's no line one foot from the goal. Hence, there is no one-foot line.

    That is all.
