Whatever happened to all those people who thought he was an idiot for taking Mario Williams over Vince Young and Reggie Bush?

Quinn has been named the starter according to Terrell Owens.

No argument, but he is still an important part of that team.

Yeah, those road faves always look sooo easy . . . and, yeah, you could go 2-0 . . . but books LOVE guys who consistently lay road chalk in the NFL . . . just LOVE 'em.

    My fearless yet important predictions:

    1. Parlays are for suckers

    2. The Browns and Coach Queeg suffer spectacular self-immolation.

    I wouldn't go near Lions/Saints.

Detroit is going to get smoked good, but as Boomer Esiason once said, "That's not Dick Butkus and Deacon Jones over there."

You want to make a bet, call me.

You want to make a parlay, I'll call you.

You want to bet a teaser, I'll send a limo.

Just dropped on SportsCenter: Favre, when asked if he'd abandon his games-started streak, said he would. Then he said he would have last year but the Jets' coaches and front office pushed him to stay in, even with the torn bicep muscle that apparently was never listed in the injury reports.

At least, that's what I think I heard them say. No link yet.
