Oh, Tebow no, I don't think every single team should play in prime time. On the other hand, a little more variety involving the upper two-thirds of the league would be nice. At this rate, they might as well quit the charade and just put all the NFC East games under the lights.

I'm a little shocked the defending Super Bowl champions have just one 4 p.m. game.

If you look real close, you can see his/her dignity on the grill, going up in smoke...

The Bucs play New England in the London game this year. It's a 1 p.m. start here, but it will be the featured national game that day.

I thought it was interesting that 12 of the 17 Monday night games are between division opponents. Is that normal?

Sounds right. You always have a fair share of games like Steelers-Ravens, Bears-Packers, Chargers-Broncos, Cowboys-Giants, etc. I would prefer to see more non-division games on MNF, but that's just me.

BTW, how did the Dolphins get five prime-time games?

    Went back and checked:
9 division games on MNF last year.
    9 in 2007.
6 in 2006 (including both halves of a Christmas night doubleheader).
    7 in 2005.

So, yeah, 12 is a little high. I guess they wanted to focus on some of the rivalries this time around.
