NFL rips itself

    I thought it was pretty funny when this statement from the Raiders flashed on the NFL Network's crawl. Apparently the Raiders don't think much of Schefter's report that Art Shell is going to get canned ...


    Adam Schefter has always been a false rumor monger with respect to the Raiders and anti-Raider based upon his relationship with Denver and Mike Shanahan.

    "No decisions have been made relative to the 2007 Oakland Raiders nor will they be made for some time. Adam Schefter could not have gotten his information from a reliable source because there is only one reliable source and he doesn't trust Adam."

    Of course, the Raiders didn't exactly say Art would return next year, either.

    yeah i saw that. that was hysterical.

    it'd be just like al davis to keep art shell just to spite adam schefter.
