I have a hard time ever picking a team to repeat in the NFL. There are so many teams in the AFC who have the talent to go to the Super Bowl.

In the NFC, you could make an argument for just about every team other than Detroit, San Fran, Tampa, St. Louis and maybe Seattle.

Seattle had seven wide receivers injured last season and the starting quarterback gone for half the year.

This is it for the Chargers, their last year for a Super Bowl run. In that shitty division, they better go deep into the playoffs (even with Norv at the helm) or blow 'em up and start again. Saints are my feel-good story of the year. Lead the league in offense last year, yet didn't make the playoffs. I think that motivates them this year.

Listening to Buddy try to say "Danny Abramowicz" was high comedy ...

    You're right, Inky.

But do they have a real, glaring weakness other than the line? I don't see one.

If the Eagles win the Super Bowl this year, I'll stop watching the NFL.

Why would the Saints be an automatic pick?

    Why wouldn't they?
Five playoff seasons in 42 years of existence.
    They are due. :p

I'm surprised so many folks have the Vikings missing the playoffs.

Even if Brent Favre bombs, that's a really talented team.
