Why are the Patriots getting so much love? I'm a Pats fan and all I see is a shaky O-line that's been in decline since a certain Phoenix afternoon a couple of years ago; a defense with more gaps than caulk to plug 'em; a sad running game; and Wes Welker at less than 100% for a while.
I certainly see 6-10 as more of a possibility given their schedule, than an AFC championship as some of you have predicted. I hope I'm wrong, but...

I think on sheer talent alone, the Packers are the best team in football, but Mike McCarthy fills me with dread as a head coach. I'm taking the Chiefs on sheer gut alone, the Chargers lost a lot of talent and it's about time Norv Turner started fucking shit up from Sept thru Dec, too. Plus I subscribe to the theory that teams take a big leap in a second year under a head coach. Derek Anderson does great when nobody expects anything out of him and he's going to have a big year in the desert. Then next year he will suck.
