Fumbled the quote function, there, yes.

I don't hold out much hope for the Bears this year, given their idiot management . . . but
I won't be cryin' like the Steeler fanbase will be in January. As smart as Steeler management is
(and they are), they're also stingy, and this year it's going to come back and bite them in the ass.
But after all the breaks they've gotten in recent years, they can stand one mediocre year, heading into the lockout.

  8. Why are the Patriots getting so much love? I'm a Pats fan and all I see is a shaky O-line that's been in decline since a certain Phoenix afternoon a couple of years ago; a defense with more gaps than caulk to plug 'em; a sad running game; and Wes Welker at less than 100% for a while.
I certainly see 6-10 as more of a possibility given their schedule, than an AFC championship as some of you have predicted. I hope I'm wrong, but...

Pats are done as a Super Bowl contender, but they should still win a shitty AFC East.

    AFC East: Patriots 10-6
    AFC North: Ravens 12-4
    AFC South: Colts 11-5
    AFC West: Chiefs 8-8
Wild Card: TITANS BECAUSE JEFF FISHER IS THE BEST COACH IN HISTORY AND SINGLE-HANDEDLY LIFTS THE TITANS TO VICTORY IN SEVERAL GAMES THEY SHOULD HAVE LOST AND ALSO BECAUSE VINCE YOUNG IS AWESOME AND ANYONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE HIM IS A RACIST, ESPECIALLY YGBFKM (10-6)
    Wild Card: Texans 9-7

    NFC East: Cowboys 11-5
    NFC North: Packers 12-4
    NFC South: Falcons 12-4
    NFC West: 49ers 9-7
    Wild Card: Saints 11-5
    Wild Card: Cardinals 9-7

    AFC Champion: Ravens
    NFC Champion: Falcons
    Super Bowl champion: Falcons

I think on sheer talent alone, the Packers are the best team in football, but Mike McCarthy fills me with dread as a head coach. I'm taking the Chiefs on sheer gut alone, the Chargers lost a lot of talent and it's about time Norv Turner started fucking shit up from Sept thru Dec, too. Plus I subscribe to the theory that teams take a big leap in a second year under a head coach. Derek Anderson does great when nobody expects anything out of him and he's going to have a big year in the desert. Then next year he will suck.
