My favorite SJ.com handle remains Grimace.

Under his avatar it said, "What the hell am I?"

My friend I watched the Carolina game with and I both agreed on Saturday evening that it would be 7-7 1/2, Carolina. We were sure off.

There was a guy who used to post here, his name was something like Alley Allen. I never liked him, I'm sure he never liked me. Anyways, one time he was prattling on about something, wrote about how successful his 7 and a half year marriage was (it ended in divorce).

I don't remember the details, but I kinda tore him a new one, about the absurdity of bragging about your marriage that ended in divorce. I think that was it for him. He bailed shortly after.

Probably should be -7 in the first half.

He outsourced his farewell thread to his sister:

Good pull. Oh yeah, he always talked about the little man too. I loved the passive aggressive "now deceased" ex wife part.

There's no ego in this guy: "I regret that it's come to this but I'm leaving SportsJournalists.com for good. This was a personal choice, not one proposed, suggested or mandated by anyone."

Some of you never cease to amaze me. Pretty sure he left because of someone's unnecessary personal attacks on his family. But lets dredge it up again for no good reason.

Too late for the NFL to change anything, right? And besides, even if only a few diehards made it to the game, as long as the TV crew can do it the NFL will be happy.
