I don't see much of a difference between not putting up 50 beans, or 200 for the first round.

But, OK, only people who made picks in this first round can play through the SB.

    Or let me suggest this.
If they want in after the first round, their bank is $150. Or after the second, $100....
Dont exclude, but dont give them the same bank as everyone else who got in from the start...

    Simon,

I don't think you need to lock it down. Just go with this:

Join before wildcard round, start with 200
Join before divisional round, start with 150
Join before conference title games, start with 100
Join before Super Bowl, start with 50

Bet everything on Atlanta to cover, end with 0 (I'll join this group)

    That's a pretty good thought.

    OK.

Bad day for me. I can still end up with a decent week if the Eagles and Dolphins come through.

So if the Ravens tank today and I'm out of beans, I can just rebuy next week, right? Since I'd be the same as a new player.

This is why you should just keep it at $200. The people who joined late had no chance to win $200 this week and will be starting $200 behind this week's winners.

So if new players are penalized, let the originals rebuy. Just a thought.

Can I still get $200 down on the Eagles to cover?

    Because that's my bet.
