...given to them by the League.

Are they shocked to discover they took the drugs, or are they shocked to find out the league hid the risks from them, or are they not shocked at all but filing a legitimate claim for negligence on the league's part?

They're also claiming they were injured, with broken bones and such, and weren't told of the injuries by team doctors and trainers. If true, that's malpractice.

But hey, let's jump to conclusions and assume the people filing the lawsuit are in the wrong without even bothering to read to the second paragraph of the story.

Only see one person jumping to conclusions so far…

I read not only the second graph but the entire story.

As for the second graph, it doesn't identify which side is right and which side is wrong.

It details allegations, which, at this point, are only allegations.

And that's where my post was directed.

And argmageddon, I'm not saying one side or the other is right because what we are seeing from the former players are allegations, but the headline and first post show a lack of any real attempt to understand the case.

Some of you don't see tongue-in-cheek as clearly as others.

But feel free to "jump to conclusions."

Not surprised at all. But players should understand what they are signing up for when they sign those big money contracts. Wanna drive a race car? You may get killed in a wreck through no fault of your own. Wanna play in the NFL? You will be expected to shoot up and suit up to play regardless of conditions that would make a grown man scream. Part of the deal.
