I just ran across this on the FB

On this date in 1983, the then-winningest Super Bowl quarterback — Terry Bradshaw — checked himself into a hospital to have a surgical procedure on his throwing arm,... under the assumed name “Tom Brady.”

So I was at the supermarket this morning and one of the checkout stand magazines had a headline "Tom and Gisele: How We Saved Our Marriage." I was tempted to look inside but I didn't want to be disappointed when the text wasn't "We Both Got the Fuck Away From Belichick."

Cute name and Notre Dame media hype. Adequate receiver in a era of much better receivers.

He fit perfectly as a No.2 to Calvin Johnson

I’d fit perfectly as a No.2 to Calvin Johnson. Megatron ate double coverage for breakfast. A decent WR facing single coverage against the 2 or 3rd best CB with no safety help could be pretty good.

He caught 99 passes in 2016, the year after Johnson retired
Not that player now of course

While I don't know if it can officially be said that the injury ended his career, he didn't come back from it.

@heyabbott should be ignored on most things.
