    It's hard to argue that Cousins was a hugely valuable player this season. He pretty much carried that team to a 5-2 finish that lifted his team above the dreck that is the NFC East.

    Very true and I wouldn't cry foul if Palmer gets it. There's a very strong argument for him. I think for me, I take Newton because he kind of did a lot to prop up the team and did some things better than Palmer. That 14-0 start is nothing to shake a stick at either. It is really 1 and 1A in the voting.
