    Who ya got?

    This guy has Palmer:

Sando: My MVP ballot -- Newton or Palmer?

For those without Insider access, he has Palmer then Newton, Wilson, Brady, Cousins. Makes a hell of a case for Palmer.

I would probably flip a coin between Palmer and Newton. Either is worthy.

And, as a kidding aside, I'd probably vote for Jordy Nelson for last year's MVP because the difference between Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense with him and without him is enormous.

Son of a bitch didn't even look at Antonio Brown.

    Palmer sounds good to me.

He did list Kirk fucking Cousins, though! I like that Sando fella.

Newton. And his regular-season performance will look even more amazing after the Panthers lose their first playoff game.

    Newton. Not even close.

I'm far from a Newton or Panthers fan, but given what Palmer has to work with, and what Newton has to work with, I'd say Newton is an easy pick.

A better question would be who deserves Comeback Player of the Year. Palmer, Eric Berry and Adrian Peterson all seem to have good arguments.

I think Newton has to get it considering where the Panthers were last year (making the playoffs by default) and what they have accomplished this season. He out dueled Rogers, beat Seattle and led the Panthers to wins over four teams that will be in the playoffs.

I think Newton for MVP and Carson for comeback player of the year.

Palmer did all of that too.

That works both ways, though. The Cardinals' passing game, with all of the same receivers, was a horror show after he got hurt last season. There's little doubt he's made them a much better offense. Hell, he pretty much rejuvenated Larry Fitzgerald's career.

Cam Newton would trade his cape for a receiver even remotely resembling the aged Larry Fitzgerald.

Not to mention a running back half as good as David Johnson.
