    Strokes come on fast and unexpectedly...sad

    Yeah, LRS looked to be in good physical condition in every recent photo I've seen. Not sure what kind of lifestyle he kept otherwise (smoking, drinking, etc.), but he looked pretty fit for a 56-year-old man.

    Found out about this late yesterday, having spent a golf weekend with buddies and not watching any news. They had no idea who Lee Roy Selmon was, which kinda surprised me. Granted, I spent several years in Tampa, discovering what an icon he was -- and eating many, many fabulous meals at his restaurant.

    Not many athletes were as universally respected and beloved as Lee Roy Selmon in Tamoa.
