NFL HOFer Lee Roy Selmon Dies From Stroke

    How good was Selmon? He played his entire career in Tampa and waltzed into the HOF. That should say a lot.

    I've always had a favorite Selmon story. He was Lee Roy, but in school it was changed to Leroy by a teacher who told him he couldn't spell his own name. Selmon never said a thing and went through the next 15 years as Leroy. Wasn't until he was in Tampa that he used Lee Roy.

    Also, the Selmon boys used an old bucket to play football as kids because they didn't afford a real football.
