    Multiple sources.

Weird. He was quoted in a Tampa Tribune story about an NFL lawsuit just the other day:

    http://www2.tbo.com/news/bucs/2011/aug/31/4/lee-roy-selmon-appalled-his-name-attached-to-nfl-l-ar-254263/

RIP if true. Helluva player from a helluva football family.

Always think of Lee Roy whenever I see the old Bucs "dreamsicle" unis.

Dewey Selmon says "not so fast" to the same reporter in the original link.

Prayers for Lee Roy. If he wasn't breathing when the paramedics arrived, that doesn't sound good.

There was a bumper sticker circulating around Norman and the state of Oklahoma during the early 1970s that read, "Thank you Mrs. Selmon"

Prayers sent up here for Lee Roy Selmon

Re: Hall of Famer Lee Roy Selmon Suffers Stroke

Oklahoma spokesperson said he spoke to the family and said that LRS' brother said LRS has a 20 percent chance to make it.

    Again, information courtesy of sportsline.

As of now it appears as though he's alive, but he is in very serious condition.

Most fans will remember him as a great player for Tampa, but he is also (arguably) the greatest player to put on an Oklahoma uniform. My prayers are with his family

I remember a reporter telling/bragging to a PR guy that he was the first person to report that a certain former player had died.

PR Guy: If you're waiting around for me to congratulate you then you're going to be here awhile. Get a fucking life.

    Prayers to the Selmon family.
