What's even better was the lead-up to that.

"Mr. Official, let me ask you something."

    "All right Coach, go ahead."

"How could six of you miss a play like that huh? All six of you! The ball jumped out as soon as he made contact ..."

"You better take a step back or I'm gonna call a penalty for too many men on the field."

    "NO! WHAT?!?"

Some Chiefs players said Stram was even goofier that day because he was miked up.

Speaking of Super Bowl XIV, NFL Network re-aired the game in its entirety last night. Part of the "Super Bowl Classics" series they air from time to time. Pretty awesome seeing the 1970s era graphics, uniforms and playing style (like running backs and receivers lining up in three- and four-point stances). Also fun to see that late 70s Steelers team in an actual game, instead of just highlights.

NFL Network is re-airing a bunch of Super Bowls this week at 1 a.m. EST, for those up late or with a DVR. Most feature the Steelers or Packers, naturally. Super Bowl XXXI is on tonight, XL is tomorrow, XLIII is Friday and XLIV is Saturday.
