Going strictly off memory: One of those teams, I believe, tried, a free kick for a field goal after a fair catch in that game.

Sort of off topic, but a replay of the Redbox Bowl was on MASN the other day, and I flipped for a second. It looked like someone scribbled "California" in the end zone in Comic Sans on top of a barely painted over 49ers end zone. It looked horrendous.

32 years ago this past Thursday, January 9, 1988, the last time the Vikes beat the 49ers in the playoffs.

    49ers returned the favor in '89, '90, and '98.

    Getting fired up.

Who would have gotten the fantasy points on that Marshall run?

I still miss Lon Simmons. When I worked in Arizona and the BK commercial with the Burger King superimposed over Young came out, no one could understand my sporting moral outrage.

Diggs would be better if he made some plays in the playoffs.

Hell of an impressive answer TD by the Vikes.

    Yep.

Parcells nicknamed him “Toast” because he got burned so often.

He actually had some solid years for the Giants.

So Jimmy G throws a horrible pick but I remind myself, in 1981 Montana three 3 INTs against Cowboys.
