Gotta be the fewest number of Super Bowl rings in a HOF class that I can remember.

  2. Good catch, Dan.

I think it's because it's the 50th anniversary of the AFL.

That would be two, right? (Woodson, with Baltimore, and Hayes). Lots of "participation" trophies, though, with all those Buffalo Bills.

    Cris "Cocaine User", perhaps too.

You're right -- first time since the merger.

Don't mock RCWjr's two AFL Championship rings, now. ;)

And turning serious, it's not as unusual as it might seem at first glance. Woodson and Hayes would be the only two, with one each, correct? Mike Irvin (three) was the only member of the Class of 2007 to win one. Going back ... Steve Young (2005) has a couple, but only one as a starter. Elway's two in 2004. Marcus Allen (two) and Hank Stram in 2003.

You were just looking for an excuse to post that picture, weren't you, Piotr.

To think I used to have a poster of him (not that one, thank you) on my bedroom wall when I was a kid ... right next to the one of O.J.

Don't you read my posts, pseudo? :)

To reiterate, it's Titans-Bills because it's the 50th anniversary of the AFL and Bud Adams and Ralph Wilson were those teams' original owners and still own the teams.

Marcus Allen has two Super Bowl rings?

    I wish.

No, but Hank Stram has one, so it's two for that class.

Bob Hayes lost a lot of votes -- and respect -- because of his less than half-assed performance in the Ice Bowl.
