Yes. I know they do them every Monday night during the reg season, which is fine. This was billed as "an update on his future," which surely had nothing substantive and I didn't stick around to listen.

Niners-Packers is going to be epic. Rodgers coming off of two ass whoopings on the West Coast this year, including one at the Niners in November, Jones coming off a helluva game and the Niners defense seemingly back to as close to 100 percent as you can be at this point. Plus the story lines of the Niners-Packers rivalry from the 90s. Good QBs, better run games, good defenses. This is going to be championship football.

By contrast, the Chiefs-Titans has the feel of whoever scores last wins.

"Whoever scores last wins" usually means a pretty exciting game.

This post from week 3 didn't age well.

I was just thinking about that on the way to the office this morning. I guess you were, too.

As long as I was wrong about the Patriots, I am gleeful for my cretinism.

Five of those 6 teams made the playoffs, so I think it actually aged pretty damn well. Only one that didn't were the Rams. Not bad projections for that early in the season.

I was galactically wrong in my lack of faith in the 49ers and Packers. If any of y'all say you saw the Titans having a SB shot, GTFO.
