"Hey Eddy, I bet $350,000 you don't play more than seven games this season."

    "You're on, Juwan"

His life would be more fulfilling if he would get rid of cable.

I know the feeling, Mizzou. He played in a local downstate tourney at Christmastime that I cover and he just towered over the other players then. To hear this about his financial woes is sad...disappointing....troublesome.

I seem to recall someone else owing Juwan Howard a significant amount of money.
The Bank of Juwan needs a new loan officer.

The Eddy Curry/Tyson Chandler draft broadcast was my favorite of all time. I remember the crowd going nuts when they announced the Elton Brand trade. IIRC, there was also an awesome "Vecsey Sucks!" *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap* chant during a Vecsey segment.

He could do the dishes, mow the lawn and catch up on his reading.

How the hell does someone pay $1,000 a month for cable? I have a lot of channels (there is never anything good on) and pay $100 a month.

    Lots and lots of porn.

Also if he has more than one house, it could add up quickly.

Actually that is George Best's quote. "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."

I first heard it attributed to Tug McGraw. So Tug copied it too? And is it worth noting that both Tug and Best died young?
