    They'd already constricted the news hole considerably, prior to this . . . on the
    path to destroying what made them a worthwhile, entertaining read . . . too bad.

    The Observer was--emphasis on the was--a fantastic newspaper for a good 15 to 20 years. This one makes me sad.
