Newspaper publisher morphs into out-of-control parent

I'd have to file this under the ol' News of the Weird beat:

Not sure if this already was water under the bridge since the incident happened three weeks ago, but if it was, then I wonder why this publisher would choose to bring it back to the forefront.

 

Sounds like a situation he felt embarrassed about and used this forum to explain a little and mostly to apologize for prompting the incident. I wish more parents could admit when they've stepped over the line...with us as writers and more often with the coaches we cover.

Well, it takes kids.

 

This is the second two-week old d_b today.

 

While I can't claim Newbie status for my ignorance in not seeing the original thread, I'm not so sure you can call me out for a d_b when the orginal thread appears on a totally different forum. I did quickly scan the first two pages of Journalism Topics before posting this and the original appears under Everything Else so I maintain my innocence.
