    I liked it too.

    Not sure of this has been mentioned, but NPR was doing a story on the opening, and several newspaper people were talking about what a waste it was spending $450 million on this thing when newspapers were in such trouble.

    He said they should have just endowed some newspapers to save jobs.

    I went to the old Newseum and liked it, for what it's worth. Even got a snazzy coffee mug and a book with funny headlines. Quite a day!

    Stopped in recently. Definitely overpriced, but quite well done. News/journalism junkies will like most of the displays. One I thought was particularly cool -- tons and tons of key front pages from the Start of Time to Current. displays on 9/11 and civil rights coverage quite well done.
