All it does is give you directions to the Newseum.

And tell you how much it sucks.

The most popular museum in DC is the Spy Museum, which also charges for admission.

That's weak, you'd think the Spy Museum would have a secret entrance (which they could change regularly) so you could sneak in without having to pay.

They charge less, and it's something that's more interesting to the general public.

So what kind of buyout would the Newseum give? 1 hour pay for each week you've worked there plus a coupon for free admission?

Forgive me if this was posted elsewhere, but couldn't find the thread.

More suitable irony (or is this even irony anymore?): http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/23/AR2009032301698.html

LOL. That's good. Maybe all Gannett properties should do this, change and hide the entrance every day---only the first 50 employees who can find their way in before 8 a.m. get to work that day. Everyone else gets furloughed for the day.

You'd think Newseum would be booming. Maybe it needs a few years, then ex-journos can show their kids what they used to do for a living.

    $20 is a bargain.
I was there for 3 hours and wished I'd had 6 more.
Easily the best museum I've ever been to.
    Just not even close.

Upcoming special: Pay for Sunday admission, get in free the rest of the week.
