The Christmas Tree keeps surviving, though.

That scene in The Sopranos has been rendered pathetically off-kilter now.

They went 13-19 since Artie Buco mentioned "Mangenius"

I wonder if Favre's comments got him canned.

Crennel and Marinelli I understand. Mangini I don't.

Did anyone watch last week's game? He fired himself by kicking the fg on the first drive.

I thought he should have been fired between the Seattle and Miami games. Yost-style.

The Free Press has confirmed that the Lions fired coach Rod Marinelli this morning. In addition, Tom Lewand has been named club president and Martin Mayhew the team’s general manager, according to a Lions official.

Johnson said the decision was reached last night, but it was a culmination of discussions throughout the season.

Johnson also said that he wants the coach and Head of Football Operations positions to be separate. It's rumored that Bill Cowher wants complete control, so does that take him out of the running? Jersey Guy Parcells may be authoring an exit from South Florida. Does he want to come back to the Jets as Head of Football Ops? Does Johnson throw Cowher and Parcells boatloads of money to come in and run the Jets?
