    Weird. They took over Newport News in 2010. They took over Hartford in 2011. At that time we were told, "Florida is next . . . within a year.''

    And they STILL can't figure it out?

    I do think fellow media types hold Lupica in higher esteem, or at least think the public does - than he actually is viewed. He's the Carmelo of sportswriters. Peaked early, cashed checks and is mostly famous for being well-paid.
