    Gator Bowl has been on New Year's Day since 1996. Also '46-'54, '60, '65, '71, '89, '91.

Oh yes. And that has Hawkeye fans nervous.

If Pioli goes to the Browns, Ferentz, I think, will be close behind.

He's done a very good job with this team.

Another reason why Clemson is full of fail. Dabo had no fucking clue what to do down the stretch. Congratulations Huskers! I heart the Pellinis.

Nice job, ABC, throw Paterno under the bus for not doing a pregame interview even though he was "contractually obligated." Give me a break.

Love it - Joe Paterno giving the figurative finger to ABC / ESPN / Lisa Salters by refusing to do his contractual interview.

Poor Steve Shaw looks like he's running a Rotary Club meeting.

That was maybe the longest coin toss in college football history.

Jeez, Cloris, just flip the coin.

Did she squeeze in a couple leftover dick jokes from the Comedy Central roast ?

I'm in a bowl pool where you just pick games (I'm 15-10 right now after an 11-3 run), but also has a "second chance" pool for games from Jan. 1 on (you have to pick them all correctly), I think this might have been the first time ever I've still been alive at the Rose Bowl kickoff.

And I like Cloris Leachman as much as anyone, but how did she land the grand marshal gig for the Rose Bowl?

Why not say what happened? He's a douche and thinks he can do what he wants.

I want ABC to show me Joe Paterno's signature on that contract.

The Rose Bowl has sucked in terms of quality in recent years, but I'll always watch every second of it. It's the prettiest damn sports television this side of the Masters.
