Well, thankfully the Yankees don't need to worry about fans unlawfully intruding on somebody's "home," seeing how they still need somebody to actually buy said "home" first.

Funny quote, considering paying for the suite is similar to making mortgage payments...

It has been pointed out many times that this entire stadium project was Lon Trosts's baby. And as Boom has noted, Lon Trost has no clue. His concern is simply money, nothing else.
And this is the future of the Yankees franchise.
As crazy as the old man could be and as expensive (relatively speaking) as things could get at the old building, when George was running the show there actually was some concern for the real Yankee/baseball fan.

Here's a photo of the Lonn Trost moat that keeps the riff-raff away from the wealthy customers who are worthy of seeing the Yankees up close and maybe getting an autograph:

And what better time for the Yankees to open bidding to suckers on old office mini-bars, dead grass and restroom urinal soap cakes?

Went to Philly for game 5. The difference in crowd noise compared to the new Yankee Stadium was stunning. It was a definite factor early in game - clearly rattled AJ in the first inning.

The first 10 minutes or so it's loud and the white towel-waving is impressive. The crowd goes dead quiet if the Phillies fall behind, though.
