New trial in music downloading case

    They're illegal everywhere but some countries are more gung-ho to prosecute. Most of these companies are based in places like Amsterdam (sp*) and Liberia (or at least that's what the paper trail says) and by the time US authorities finally get close to tracking down the makers, they simply just switch things up so that they're suddenly based in Brazil. In reality, it's probably some guy sitting on his sofa in Chicago, but the police have no idea because they're always seemingly a step behind.

    Or at least that's how I've come to understand how the system works.

    I did a youtube to mp3 transfer in the summer for an 80s single by an obscure Toironto band called The Dice that had somehow made its way on there. I had given up hope of ever finding that song online. Sound is OK, finding it was all that mattered.
