I say if you're league champ isn't in the BCS top 16, you don't get in the freakin BCS.

Ahem. From the selection guidelines on www.bcsfootball.org:

    3. The champion of Conference USA, the Mid-American Conference, the Mountain West Conference, the Sun Belt Conference, or the Western Athletic Conference will earn an automatic berth in a BCS bowl game if either:

    A. Such team is ranked in the top 12 of the final BCS Standings, or,

    B. Such team is ranked in the top 16 of the final BCS Standings and its ranking in the final BCS Standings is higher than that of a champion of a conference that has an annual automatic berth in one of the BCS bowls.

(This means you, No. 15 Boise State and No. 18 Georgia Tech. Can we kick the ACC out of the BCS yet?)

Very true. In that game, WVU became the first team ever to get complacent with a 28-0 first-half lead.

i'm not saying west virginia wasn't the better team. never have said it, never will say it. shit, i picked wvu to win that game. i'm just saying, a 38-35 victory isn't an embarassment or blowing a team off the field.

i watched the whole game. the whole game had points where neither team could stop the other and the 'eers came out ahead. there are four quarters in a game, wvu showed it was the better team
