    The Tennessean will have to gas up the bus again to give a tour of the area to another new section editor.

    You probably think I'm kidding, but turnover there was so bad at one time that they did (quarterly?) bus tours for new employees.

    A genuinely nice person who lives and breathes the area. The reduced high schools/colleges mission suits his interest and expertise.

    David is a great guy and a hard-worker. He's also spent the past several years doing videos and the website, and the story makes it clear that the emphasis now is totally on the digital product.
