New Pee Wee Herman movie on tap?

I read on TMZ that Pee Wee Herman has a movie in the works ...
Found an interview about a year old that said two movie will be produced one due within a year and another soon to follow.

I heard something about this a while ago. Assuming it's the same movie, I heard it was going to be based off "Playhouse." How awesome would a Cowboy Curtis cameo be?!

 

It's a benefit for Chairy. He's fallen on hard times.

 

I plan on purchasing the entire "Playhouse" box set for my son to watch -- it's the greatest, funnest kids' show ever, and what happens to Reubens doesn't change that.

Hopefully he won't be scarred for life when he's old enough to learn the story.
