New JUCO head is first woman leader of any intercollegiate athletic association

    Sorry for the headline-ese, but it seemed the only way to fit it into the thread head limit and still convey the information. Put more normally, the new leader of the National Junior College Athletic Association is the first woman to hold any such position in an intercollegiate association. Thought that was worth noting.

    I'm likely mistaken, but Bridget Belgiovine (now the AD at Wellesly) was the director of D3 beginning in 1998.
