New grill

    I got a new (charcoal) grill for Father's Day and spent tonight "curing" the cast-iron grill components. Tomorrow night, actual grilling for the people who gave me the grill -- the wife and stepdaughters.

    I felt bad for the dog, though, who had patiently waited all evening for me to cook something, so I grilled us a couple of ballpark franks 'round midnight.

    good times.

    I wish I had started the "curing" project a lot earlier, for sure. Took about four hours.
