    Garvey and his then-wife Cyndi sued Inside Sports and writer Pat Jordan, a one-time bonus baby with the Milwaukee Braves for $11 mil, settled out of court for $50,000. The Garvey's thought the article would be "positive," it was titled Trouble in Paradise and ripped the sheen off of Garvey's squeaky clean image. A few years later Garvey became publisher of "Sport" magazine, shortly before it folded.

    Interesting note about Pearlman's days at the Tennessean - he wrote about food and fashion there.

    I've seen a lot that resemble his belly and drinking abilities.
