    This is something some writer friends and I have played at bars...

    Sports writer trivia.

    Here are the rules... Nothing bad. Writer must be pretty well-known.

    First person to answer the question correctly asks the next question...

    John Ed Bradley or whatever his name is, though I'm also not sure if he's still covering.

    That's not the one I'm thinking of. The one I'm thinking of is definitely still covering college football.

    OK, is this DI as we think of it today - or DI-AA. I have one in mind but I think it may have been I-AA.

    There are enough people on here who are friends with him that someone will get it.

    Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the answer to the question is on the board fairly regularly (although I don't know that for a fact)
