    March 11? C'mon, that's way too early.

I listed multiple options. That seems to be the best fit for those who responded so far.

They're also the ones who would've drafted Biff Pocoroba in the 2nd round.

Hell, I already finished a draft in one league.

I've done drafts a day or two into the season and I've done them late February/early March. You do the best you can with the information available. And if you mess up, that's what trades and the waiver wire are for.

For me at least, maybe some others, it wasn't the earlier date that mattered but the day of the week / time.

I know. Unfortunately, March 11 is the only Sunday I'm available between now and the start of the season, which is March 29.

Looks like we are locked into this Sunday, March 11 for our draft.

I did have a mistake in settings. I was mixing up points and rotisserie scoring. I meant to have it rotisserie. However, the votes so far have been for points over head-to-head. I'll stick with points rather than trip people up right before the draft.

Sorry for the confusion there. I've been playing fantasy baseball for 27 years, but this is my first attempt at running a league.

Can we start drafting football players for the 2028 season? It's only 10 years away.

Sure. Start scouting middle school games for the top rookies.

Less than 48 hours to the draft. Be sure to pre-rank your players, especially if you can't make it for the draft.

The rankings may look odd to those of you who haven't done points before. They looked odd to me at first, as this is my first points league. If you aren't sure, we get points for each of the following accumulated by active players.

    Runs - 2 points
    Hits - o.5 points
    Home Runs - 4 points
    RBI - 2 points
    Stolen Bases - 2 points
    Wins - 5 points
    Saves - 5 points
    Earned runs - minus-0.5 points
    Innings Pitched -- 1 point
    Strikeouts - 2 points
