Re: New ESPN Ombud's Remarks on Cowherd

I was really disappointed in Cowherd for doing that to TBL. I can't listen to him anymore. I've lost respect for him.

Cowherd has done similar things before. Don't know why this would be the particular line in the sand.

That was a really good article. She mixes humor in quite deftly.

She's attacking targets who deserve it - Salisbury, Bayless, Reali (who, at 28, knows shit about absolutely nothing) - and weaving those examples into the larger critique of the general noise level on the collected channels.

Would be nice if the suits actually did something about it. Ya know, action instead of reaction.

But very good stuff from start to finish.

Other than a grotesquely-fumbling character misread of Michael Vick, she captures the abject horror many a casual viewer must feel, regarding the worst of ESPN's abuses to sensibility.

I'm not certain how long she's going to last . . . but this is going to be great fun to watch.
Hope she reconsiders, and chimes in more often than once, per month.

She did a good job. Good writing. Very deft.

The ESPN shouting reminds me of the old Garrett Morris SNL routine: News For The Hard Of Hearing. Youtube doesn't have the old stuff, but here he reprises his act:
