If I think Tosh.0 is funny, I don't think I have matured that much.

Patrick relieved a little bit of his ESPN days on his show today after the GQ excerpts came out. Funny stuff, like where Olbermann's "Hellllloooooooo" originated. It'd be great stuff if he and Olbermann sat around for three hours and revealed the inside stuff/jokes.

Stu Nahan used to drive me insane.

I watched him argue that the Gretzky trade to LA was a bad deal for the Kings because the Kings gave up too many players. The Kings gave up Jimmy Carson and Martin Gelinas for Gretzky, Marty McSorley and Mike Krushelnyski. It was so laughably one-sided that LA had to throw in $15 million... but Nahan said giving up Carson was too much. Sigh.

Oh, and I think Roggin lost his edge when he kicked cocaine. Just sayin'.

I remember that about Silver Tip Stu and the Kings. Drove me crazy all the time.

Here's a Silver Tip oldie but goodie.

As for Roggin ... he always drove me batty with his schtick. Coke or no coke.

Pick up a copy of "The Big Show". They give the origins of a ton of their pop-culture references and sayings, as well as background on how they put together the show, their paths to ESPN, and some journalism insight. It's good stuff.

Read it. Be funnier now with both of them gone from the mothership.

Did someone break it? The embargo, that is.
