Just saw where Chevy is introducing their fastest production Camaro ever.

The Chevy Camaro ZL1 will produce a mind-numbing 580 HP.

Holy Mackrel, no bigger than the car is, this sumbitch will be a rocket.

It's just too bad it looks like the old Chevy Beretta.

    (sorry....I'm a Mustang Guy)

That car has less visibility than a Trident submarine. I can't imagine driving one with a ton 'o power.

With the engine in the SS, the Camaro didn't need more power. It needed far less weight (say 500 pounds) and more window space. It sounds like the ZL1 gets a reworked suspension which is good.
I'm a Chevy guy, but I'm not sold on the looks yet of the current Camaro. I like the looks of the original, early 2nd gen, 3rd gen and early 4th gen.
Another problem Chevy has is the Camaro can only be so fast before it hurts Corvette sales. In the last couple of years Corvette sales have taken a nosedive. Probably a lot is due to the economy, but I've got to think the Camaro has hurt as well. Ford doesn't have the problem since the Mustang is the top performance car.
