New Brad Paisley song about race

    He's getting a lot of grief for "Accidental Racist." I give him credit for trying to write a song that matters and that says something, and I really don't think he thought he would "solve" the issue in three minutes and change over four verses, and maybe a song like this should be clunky and not a foot-tapper, but...
    he does seem to have brought black people and white people together in their united mockery of the song.

    The song -- and its sentiments -- don't sound racist per se. Just written from a point of view that exists in a lot of people. No big deal. A lot of artists do it.

    I think what's far more offensive is a song featuring a Brad Paisley-LL Cool J duet.

    I read the lyrics yesterday. I think it would work better in the hands of Weird Al or Dr. Demento.
